Last weekend a bunch of Lamborghinis (I had the pleasure to join them for the sunday trip)
besides teh Sportwagetreffen in Erlen - one stop was the visit of the newly opened AUTOBAU museum.
details can be found here
AUTOBAU.ch
This collection of sportscars and also racecars is astonishing because it's basically a private collection of a collector and racing driver.
It's no secret that the guy is called: Fredy Lienhard
kind of a biography in german:
special attention please to his Daytona24 victory
datasheet in english
Fredy Lienhard
now running the Lista-Racing-Teams
arrival, overview of the newly restored factory building, from inside

Inside, Hall of Ferrari and other sportcars

Vector W8 (one of my highlights to see one in metal, for the first time)
various Rinspeed prototypes and one or two from Sbarro
Porsche 356's
Aston Martin Vanquish

in the Racing Section, a large selection of Sauber racingcars from C1, C8 to F1 models
other Formula cars
LOLA, March- Reynard F3000
Porsche, from "vintage"911CarreraRSR to latest RS Spyder

as a bonus, -1 Floor
underneath the race section, a "small" collection of standard US cars
Saleen, Cobra, Pontiac Friebird TransAm Recaro, Mustang, Ford GT
Corvettes and a Aston Martin Lagonda, a Rinspeed Fiat500 (new)

this collection is just tremendously crazy !
Astonishing cars ! (nice shots btw)
and to think that this isn't an exhibition but a private collection is just unbelievable...
makes me wonder where'd he get the money to buy'em all

If one day I get just one of these I'll be just the happiest man on earth...
