Au fait, y avait pas un panneau 40 au droit des travaux dans le tunnel ? C'est pas une fois une double ligne continue et une autre fois une ligne continue qu'ils bouffent allegrement ?....

Je suis allé à La Réserve avec Skal et Mouse... ben on est arrivé en meme temps que une Bentley Continental GT... relooké par LV :lol: et apres avoir pris l'apero on a vu une F430 noire avec une bande orange... pis apparement la Caterham rouge/orange était aussi la... mais sinon le reste devait avoir du retard... rien d'exceptionnel... faudrai plutot aller les voir demain matin... mais la moi je bosse... ;)

les impressions d'un copain à Barcelona

Well - no super hi-res top quality pics this time... it's almost a shame to show them actually - but here they're... my pics of the Carbon Black Rally at Barcelona :D

With a compact digicam, with flash, too much grain, awful light conditions, crowd everywhere around the cars, problems with the staff of the hotel who did not let us enter the driveway where the cars were parked in...

... but well - despite all these problems - I could even enter the underground parking, snap some shots of the cars parked in front before being kicked out by the security staff, and have a look at the *****GL hotel (the best in Barcelona), something you don't see everyday :D

It's all over the news that many (MANY!) of them have been fined with tickets up to 3,000€ for dangerous driving - recorded by 'camo' policecars :wink: :?

I've been talking to one of the guys (driver of the light blue Conti GT) and he told me they've been stopped up to 4 times between Andorra and Barcelona (190km) - being fined with random $$$ depending on the police officer for 'being part of an illegal rallye' - some cars had to pay 450 while others 'only' 350€... plus the tickets obviously :wink: He claims that this is not a rallye - just a bunch of guys having fun travelling from London to Milan with expensive exotics... which is half true - but they already knew what happened in the 2004 Gumball rallye... and this is no different :bah:

BTW - compared with the Gumball, this rally is nothing especially really - just the SLR, the fucking wicked LP640, the blue 575 SA and the swiss yellow CGT are outstanding - the rest are the 'usual' (not for me) F430, Modenas and Conti GTs... :?

Tomorrow I'll call the guy from the organization to see if I can get some passes or something - he told me there would be no problem to take pics of the cars... and so far - I've already meet a couple of security guards :wink: :D
